Ridge Road closed to through traffic Dec. 1–Jan. 8
As renovation of Avery Residence Hall continues, traffic will be detoured along Manning Drive and South and Raleigh roads.
Ridge Road will close to through traffic Dec. 1 through Jan. 8 in support of the Avery Residence Hall renovation project. During this time, Ridge Road will be closed to through traffic between Stadium Drive and the Boshamer Stadium Parking Lot. Traffic will be detoured along Manning Drive and South Road/Raleigh Road.
Pedestrians should remain alert to construction activity and follow the designated pedestrian detour along the north side of Ridge Road when traveling through this area.
Chapel Hill Transit will implement detours on the CCX and RU routes. Buses will travel on Stadium Drive and will miss stops on Ridge Road and South Road. Visit Chapel Hill Transit for information on route detours and impacted stops.
